Description

# 141.

* RS!X and Zero joined the Trenchcoat Brigade, since they're effectively both cops and detectives (at least, in my fanon-thing). This somehow allows them to get away with wearing those ties. (Note that RS-Zero is normally around Protoman's height, i.e. not even comparable to X's)

* Sonata is an aquatic rescue-bot who ended up falling for Fireman; this is the RS version of her.

* Wasn't satisfied with Buttercup's hairstyle; finally redid it. Oh, and Boomer's here, too (shades of mistercoventry influence); after the second time the Powerpuffs and Rowdyruffs faced off, the former decided to break the cycle and reform the latter.

* It's been years since the "Pirate STC" story and we STILL can't tell what was going on. I can only imagine what would happen if Fezhead (not pictured) and Skull had tried to abduct Sonic.

* Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete had no "main character" per se, I think, since it was intended for network play; Theodosia is sorta-based on the character pictured at the end of the manual. Minotaur likely isn't part of the shared PiD/Marathon 'verse (though one of the strongest swords is named Durandal), but it might fit in with Myth.

* Learning that all of his friends got killed while he was passed out in the jungle couldn't have been easy on Austin.

* I think I've gotten Vincent's helmet worked out. (To my knowledge, Marathon had no flamethrower)

* Not exact matches to what I saw in that dream, but close enough. Early attempts to interpret sprites (if the artists had access to even that much) are always interesting.

* Cortana disbelieving the existence of the S'pht'Kr came from an old theory; it was meant to explain why she didn't follow Durandal to Lh'owon.

* I recently reminded myself of my Fallen and Symbiote races; unusually, these two didn't need that much adjusting. While neither race is truly divine in nature, they both reside in Heaven. Fallen are geometric obsidian warriors; Symbiotes are the liquid humanoids that bond with them to act as a second set of senses (note that both races can survive just fine without the other, though). This particular Fallen, Kakuro, has bonded with a Symbiote named Jocosa.

* In this PPG AU-thing, Bunny is a runaway from Citiesville who got in a would-be-fatal vehicular accident with none other than Professor Utonium; out of desperation, he gave her some of his recently-discovered Chemical X in the hopes that it'd let her live long enough to heal. It did, and she developed many of the same powers that her future step-sisters would. Bunny's not really an active teammate, but her presence is acknowledged in that emblem she's holding.

Bunny is around 20-21 when the other PPGs are in seventh grade.

* The two Venuses make a decent contrast to each other, I think.

* Compiling all those old sketches made me want to draw Tycho in his old outfit, since it was the most visually-interesting of the V1 designs. Alas, actually doing that demonstrated why I changed it as drastically as I did. Durandal is present to fill in space.
