This page ended up with an unusually-high concentration of characters originally from [name of comic preemptively removed].


* The Light siblings, Earth-RS. Since I changed up how I drew Rock, I decided to borrow the way KaitlinEXE drew helmetless Proto.

* It was a while since I drew StS!Tails, so here she is.

* Actually, Durandal CAN lecture you on your murderous misanthropy, Lysander (though, the former's "strange loyalty" to humanity tends to be overlooked, I've noticed). Kinda wish that these two had a directly-shown conversation in Rubicon proper.

* Sammie's specialty is "tech/comms", though I don't think the original comic ever gave her a chance to do any actual tech work. As Beta, Sammie is a whitehat hacker who earns money for the Sentinels in-between prying into enemy systems; she hates blackhats with a white-hot passion.

My initial thoughts on Sammie and Vincent meeting were along the lines of "hacker team-up!", but then I remembered that Vincent is an utterly-shameless blackhat.

* The two Sentinels that I had yet to draw (either in armour or out), Heather/Epsilon and Tiffany/Eta. Heather is a master of misdirection and Tiffany is the steamroller that walks like a woman.

* The details on Zeth's armour might be inaccurate (the most recent ref I could find that wasn't a headshot seemed to be one iteration behind). "Zeth" is the codename given to him by Heliz, by the way.

* All four of the main Sentinels are on the same page, if not the same row. Perhaps what took me so long was figuring out what colour Tanya/Gamma's armour would be, since Paige and Linna are both grey. Also completely forgot her jetpack-thing.

* Cacie is quoting "Monochrome" by Covenant. Seemed fitting for a member of what's essentially a Black Ops group.

* Accidentally made Alex's armour a shade darker than it's meant to be. This is also where I settled on her squad's name.

* Wanted to draw Clarissa because I thought she was cute. From what I've seen of her home series (by the same author as [not naming that comic]), it's, at the very least, consensual and not-gory.

* Aaaand Durandal's gone full tsundere.

* Raven hails from Immercenary, a 3DO exclusive influenced by Snow Crash; I'd meant to doodle her on a past page, but lack of clear refs put me off of that. She's the one who sends the player on their mission to take down Perfect1, the game's Big Bad.
