Description

An attempt to Ariga-ize my d00ds. (Gotta give more props to Diman and Redman...)

JumpGirl

She could be the first 'bot of her kind to have ADHD. Jumpgirl was designed to leap to great heights both in and out of battle (also some wind-based attacks), but it resulted in her, er, roaming personality. Kind of like Steel, except that all attempts to make her sit down (except of someone's shoulders) are moot...for a FACT. Her light frame does allow her to make huge bounds across the landscape, but also makes her easier to knock away. Of all her "family", she dislikes Protoman the most.

Jumpy (as she has been nicknamed) is very curious to the point of being nosy/obnixious/both. Unfortunately for Megaman, she's also combative.

[Following the Megaman and Bass CD format:]

GOOD POINT: Strong
BAD POINT: Roaming
LIKE: Fighting
DISLIKE: Boring people

SteelMan
I think you already know Steelman. [link]

GOOD POINT: Good singer
BAD POINT: Rarely listens
LIKE: Stage
DISLIKE: Wily (kind of.)

JungleMan

A rather childlike 'bot built to oversee work in the jungles. [It's also a style of music! OMG!] He'd rather play than do his job. Getting him to do his job is like trying to make Jumpy sit down: it's impossible. Thus, he's usually carrying a walkie-talkie with him. When angered, though, Jungleman fights like an armoured tank, except faster. And it's universal in video games that tanks can kill you in one hit. And Capcom had to go and invent the Metal Blade...grumble. While he's good with a toothpick--uh, I mean, sword--his recklessness often costs him the victory.

GOOD POINT: Playful (not with people.)
BAD POINT: Slacker (as Wily puts it)
LIKE: The jungle
DISLIKE: Work

HoloGirl

The Wily version of Roll, maybe? HoloGirl's nickname "Master of Puppets" is not merely a Metallica reference. She has the ability to remote-control Mechaniloids within close range (100 meters). As an added bonus, she can generate short-lived holograms of anything she desires. Despite all this going for her, she's very frail and scaredy, and so her abilities are largely overlooked. When not fighting Megaman, she's usually helping clean the Skull Fortress.

Holo is normally a nice 'bot, but has shown signs of almost mind-boggling cruelty [most apparent when operating a machine a la Sonic the Hedgehog bosses]

GOOD POINT: Attentive
BAD POINT: Weak
LIKE: Cleaning
DISLIKE: Roll

Think Luorre the Abyssroid minus the giant fish.

ViolinMan

Originally built to keep Steelman in line (he still does), Violinman was recalled to fight Megaman. He wields a razor-sharp wire in the guise of a bow (gatakana? magatama? uh...) with which to slice apart obstacles. There are two cannons in his body, one in the hole on his stomach (STOP LAUGHING. GUN =/= HOLE) and one in the phongraph piece on his shoulder. One might think he would do excellently against Megaman, but alas, his luck is no better than any of his siblings'. Not to mention, he's often ridiculed. You get three guesses why.

GOOD POINT: Violinist (he plays himself. Not with himself.)
BAD POINT: A little clumsy, pissy
LIKE: Classical music
DISLIKE: Stereoman

ShortMan

[I've also considered the name Zapman.] Unbelievably, this guy is a Robot Master. Yes, that little kickball with a shock rod is a commander of hundreds of Mechaniloids. No matter how powerful he or his army becomes, his looks get him only one thing: RIDICULED. One might say he's supposed to look like a minor enemy so his attackers will let their guard down, but Shorty doesn't think so. [By the way, he hates that nickname.]

That shock rod gives him powers of electricity, though he can't compete with Elecman or Sparkman. Shorty's small size allows him to travel into places other, bigger robots cannot, so perhaps Wily did put some thought into his design.

GOOD POINT: Tactitian
BAD POINT: Touchy
LIKE: Heights
DISLIKE: Protoman

FuseMan

Another Robot Master that looks kinda silly, but is effectively dangerous. He uses sticks and bundles of TNT to fight, gaining an explosive edge in battle. (*is promptly shot for the awful pun*) Bad puns aside, he's not one to be messed with. Anything is enough to "set him off", usually resulting in someone getting hurt. Due to his clumsiness, it's usually himself. And no, it's not because of those tank treads.

GOOD POINT: He blows up
BAD POINT: He blows up
LIKE: History
DISLIKE: Annoyances

And last but not least, StereoMan

Wily has a habit of anthropomorphizing various electrical objects. Next in the Hall of Shame is Stereoman. He is what his name suggests: a stereo. As a music 'bot, he's loud and obnoxious, often turning up his volume so loudly that he shatters glass. This same tactic can be used to stun and confuse opponents, while he himself is largely unaffected. However, he gloats so much that he's an easy target.

As one might expect, he dislikes a certain anthropomorphic violin.

GOOD POINT: Plays music
BAD POINT: Blind fool
LIKE: Loud
DISLIKE: Violinman

Personally, I love Shortman's second expression.

And now that Mega Man 11 is here, the 2nd robot in that game's rogues gallery is a yellow robot with eye-spots and two large electrical fuses on his helmet, whose name happens to be Fuse Man!
